During your journey you will conquer some of
Tour de France’ most mythical climbs
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Grenoble TGV station or Lyon Airport, followed by check-in at your hotel. This quick leg spin will enable you to adjust to your bike, the road conditions and to connect with your fellow riders. This narrow alpine road is not car friendly but is the paradise for all cyclists. This balcony road offer a scenic view over the Oisans valley Such country side road , is the perfect way to say “Bonjour” to the Alpes" Hotel : Chalet Mounier
Daily Mileage: 28 km / + 871 m
After descending Les Deux Alpes , we will start with Col du Lautaret. Although quite long (34km), it is considered as an appetizer (CAT 1 , avg 3,9%/ Max 8,1%) compared to the iconic Col du Galibier (Hors-Catégorie, 8,5 km, avg 6,88% & 12,1 % Max). First featured in the 1911 Tour de France, Col du Galibier, is one of the highest summits (2,645 m), in Tour de France. Atop after the usual selfie, you will enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the whole Alpes including Mt Blanc. After a quick downhill we will stop at our favourite farmhouse café. The longest downhill, of your life (39km) will definitely help with the digestion. Before climbing again back to Les Deux Alpes (9,8 km at avg 6,2 %) For those with sore legs, a transfer will be offered. Hotel : Chalet Mounier

A “recovery” ride with a twist. The descent of Les Deux Alpes and the following flat section will offer you a respite before today’s “pièce de resistance” : L’Alpe d’Huez. Since 1952, this iconic climb was featured in over 30 Tour de France stages (last in 2022). The 21 legendary bends, each with its own story, have played a pivotal role in Tour de France history. Each bend bears the name of Alpe d'Huez winner. Climbing Alpe d'Huez (Hors Catégorie, 14 km at 8%) brings you closer to the sport's essence. Small advise go steady, meditate and keep the eyes open, you may discover your name painted on the road. After the usual picture on Alpe d’Huez podium, you will surely enjoy the second downhill of the day, this time, more technical. For the return to les Deux Alpes either, you will be offered two option : climb back (additional 26 km & 1,100 m Elev) or for those with sore legs, take the chair lift from Oisans valley. Daily Mileage: 66 Km / + 1,625 m
Time to say au “Revoir” to Les Deux Alpes, after the descent and a refreshing ride in the Oisans Valley, we will tackle a regular feature of Tour de France. Col du Glandon’ slope average looks deceiving (4,5 %, over 25 km) as it is sprinkled with several downhills , with most slopes over 7 % and a few transitions over 11 %. The perfect “leg shredder”!! Pic-Nic atop the summit will be the reward for your great effort ; before heading to the last descent of the day to the Maurienne Valley. Hotel : Chateau de Candie or V de Vaujany

A few hours before the pros, the effort will be intense (19 km at 7,9 %) but you will feel you are wearing “Le Maillot Jaune” as many spectators & fellow riders will constantly cheer you up. After your effort, you will join BeloVelo team at a strategic race position, where you recover and enjoy Le Tour atmosphere . On this penultimate stage of Tour de France Femmes by Zwift 2025, the finish line will be set at the summit of Col de La Madeleine (Alt 2,000 m). Most likely the battle will be fierce in between Demi Vollering, Katarzyna Niewiadoma (winner 2024 edition), Marianne Vos or even Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. Once the “Grupetto” has passed, we will enjoy a long downhill before tackling a recent Tour de France discovery: “Les Lacets de Montvernier” (shoelaces of Montvernier). First featured in the 2015 Tour de France, this CAT 3, (3 km at 8,2 % avg) will knock your socks off ! After this last ride, and a transfer back to our hotel we will all share a gala dinner where we will celebrate your week’ achievements. Hotel : Chateau de Candie or V de Vaujany

After a quick expresso at the hotel, we catch the first sun rays over this magnificent lake, the perfect selfie !. This final ride is usually a poignant conclusion to a week filled with memorable cycling memories and shared camaraderie moments. Once back to the hotel, we'll share an "Au Revoir" breakfast, before driving you back to Lyon Airport or Grenoble TGV station. After this refreshing leg spin, we will all enjoy a proper "Au Revoir" breakfast before driving you back to catch your flight or train Hotel : Chateau de Candie or V de Vaujany

Flying to France: To minimise the risk of delays, recover from jet lag, we do advise you to land in Paris (CDG) or Lyon/ Geneva on Friday (Journey start on Saturday noon). From Paris you will then board will a TGV (high speed train) on Saturday morning. We will https://www.raileurope.com/index.html. Alternatively, we may arrange an airport transfer from Lyon or Geneva (additional cost may apply).
