Conquer the very same winter training climbs favoured by the Pros and ride on the route of the Tour de France 2024's grand finale.

After your hotel check-in, our road captain will lead you on a short ride, offering a delightful introduction to the French Riviera's scenic countryside. It's the perfect opportunity to acclimate to the roads conditions, your bike, and bond with fellow riders.
Daily Mileage: 34 km / + 404 m
Venture through the stunning village of Saint-Paul de Vence, followed by a scenic climb up Col de Vence (9.6 km at 6.5%). This climb, often part of pro training grounds and Paris-Nice routes, provides a perfect start to your BéloVélo journey.

Today, we will go for a loop in Nice’s hinterland. Riding on small country side, winding roads, we'll goo thru some typical Provence villages. Some are even perched on rocky outcrop. After a great down to earth lunch, on a patio overlooking the Var valley, you'll head towards your base for the rest of your BéloVélo adventure: Nice.
Daily Mileage: 87 Km / + 965 m
After a few pedal stokes from the centre of Nice, we’ll tackle the renowned Col d’Eze (9.7 km at 5.1%), a yearly Paris-Nice feature. Next you will ride on a part of Monaco F1 GP track, before heading for this week' “pièce de résistance”: Col de la Madone (9,7 km at 7,1 %), favourite Pro’s training ground. Did you know that this climb gave its name to TREK top of the line bike? You may not beat Pogacar’s KOM (23:52), but surely will love the pastoral roads and incredible views over Monaco. Bonus: on our way back, we will ride on Tour de France 2024, last stage (Time trial Monaco-Nice). Perfect opportunity to measure at the peloton !

Enjoy a relatively gentle day for your legs as you ride through Levens, a medieval village with stunning panoramic views. Definitely worth a visit after our lunch in this typical Provence village. On our way back, if you're up for a final climb, we’ll head to Mont Chauve (Bold Mount) 5,5 Km at 7,9%

After a quick espresso and croissant, we’ll take you for an early ride to St Jean Cap Ferrat. Often known as one of the pearls of the French Riviera, it is renowned for its rocky beaches and millionaire villas. On your way back, explore Nice's vibrant flower and farmers market. This final ride is a poignant conclusion to a week of memorable cycling and shared camaraderie. We'll bid you farewell with an "Au Revoir" breakfast before driving to Nice TGV station or the airport.

Flying to France: To minimize the risk of delays, recover from jet lag, we do advise you to land in Paris (CDG) on Saturday (Journeys start on Sunday noon). To reach Marseille you will board a TGV (high-speed train) in Gare de Lyon, for TGV information, please check https://www.raileurope.com/index.html
We will welcome you at Marseille TGV station on Sunday at 1.00 pm. While we do not handle train & plane booking we would be happy to advise on the best travel options. At the end of your journey, on Friday, we will drive you back to Marseille TGV station, to board your return TGV from 12:00 pm onwards.

All selected restaurants propose a genuine cuisine using local & seasonal products. Contrary to other Tour operators, ALL your meals are included, with matching wines and mineral water. Your Journey also includes a Michelin* dinner with matching wines. All hotels and restaurants cater to specific dietary needs; do not hesitate to inform us in advance.
We have selected some of the best bikes currently on the market: TREK Domane SL7 Di2 or PINARELLO Prince Disk Ultegra Di2. While features are similar to "Tour de France peloton" machines (Full Carbon, Electronic Transmission), you may also wish to upgrade to a superior bike category or wheelset, upgrade your bike. For your convenience, we will supply you with a Helmet, and desired pedal type.
Each day, your road captain will open the road, lead you through charming villages, traffic-less country roads, advise on how to tackle the next climb and all the while, ensure your safety and comfort. As experienced cyclists, we know that it is always reassuring to feel a presence along the way. This is why an assistance vehicle will follow you in case of a puncture or if you need beverages, snacks, an extra layer or even wish to rest for a while.
Everyday several mileage and speed average options will be available to suit all fitness levels. To provide a genuine, safe and personalized experience the group size will be limited to 15 guests in a week. You may also enjoy a daily BéloVélo Bike Clinic during which a Road Captain will teach you tips of the peloton, such as climbing, downhill, bike handling techniques, mechanical advise and much more

At the end of you journey, You may recognize such dedication by tipping your Road Captains Based on your level of enjoyment we advise tipping 6 to 10 % of your Journey price.
